its been a LONG time

ok..


so i have not written any blogs in months... and not having enough time is an excuse... but besides that i dont know why i did not keep up.. anyways.. i was doing my  30 pg micro paper and decided to chek everyone's profiles on AIM (during my study break)... and i saw yag's profile and ended up reading her blog.. so i thought since i have  5more mins of break left y not write soemthing... so here i am...


lets see since the last time i wrote a lot of things have changed... i now go to IIT and will be done with my first year at iit in a few days... time seriously flies... in about 365 days i will done with  my undergraduate education.. i can still remember the day i graduated high school... wow..!!!  so its been a year and after talking to kristina last week it reminded me of how much fun last years spring sem was with her sheel n maria (my ex. roomies).. the cool thing is we still have kept in touch.... so anyways... i have finals next week.. and till then i have to catch up with loads of work...


so this blog is mainly pointless and just something i decided to do randomly..  hopefully i will write something next week (when i get done with finals...) till then.. have an awesome life...

Getatray , July Fourth and Pizza Hut!!!! :-D

wow .. this past weekend many events took place... i firstly wanted to apologize for not being able to celebrate Puja's b-day (on july1st) and Raj's b-day (july 3rd)... so guys i am really sorry.. and i hope you had a blast on ur birthdays... :lol:

secondly.... Reesha, Pritika, Bijal, Meghna, Aditya, Harsh uncle and Adhvut Bhai were here from Indiana for geetatray... and lets jus say they were sooooo much fun to hang out with.... we watched DDLJ n had random story telling incidents till the early hours in the morning... and then we would wake up after 4-5 hours of sleep n have more fun... in general i had fun time with them and it woulda been funner if i didn't have MCATs to worry abt... :roll:
anyways... today i also got a chance to meet aarti, payal, and seema from boston.... i met them almost after a whole year... and i was thinking that last fourth of july i was in boston n we (me, aarti, payal and their friends) went to the pool party, and we went to the wrong place for fire works, and ended up going to see Finding Nemo... fun times... :lol: so anyways, it was nice to see aarti and payal after such a looooooooong time....
neh, yag, and avni were also there but i didnt get a chance to chill them a lot 'cause i came a lil late to geetray and left a lil early.. anyways i know i am goin to see guys around often... :) so i'll have plenty of time to hang out with u... and August 14 are we haveing Jagran??

then in the evening today my family and hema aunty's family went to pizza hut for dinner ('cause i CAN EAT salted food YAY!!!!).... so sonal and i had SOOOOO much fun yelling at the waitress for having an attitude towards us... she was ridiculously RUDE to us AND she got our pizza after 45 mins of wait... it was funny 'cause rite before sonal and i went to ask for our pizza i was sooo sleepy n was not in the mood to have a debate with some random person... so when we went to her n told her we were hungry n wanted pizza.... she's like: "cant u see how busy we are!!!" this sentence got me and sonal tottaly pumped up and it was us against the waitress n the manager... haha... and we ended up getting crazy disounts for "customer disatisfacation" AND free pizza.. yay ... hehe... rite sonal... hehe..it was jus a funny incident.... i guess you had to be there to know exactly y it was soo funny... and i am glad my talk with the waitress made me lose my sleep... hehe.... and in the end i am all happy....

so that was the hilite of my weekend... fun rite! :wink:

Shiv Parvati Vrat

... so my second blog... today the shiv-parvati vrat starts..... its five straight days of not eating anything that has salt in it... so i can eat tonns of sweet (which i am trying to cut down on).... tonns of fruits (which i am trying to eat more)... and i can have wheatable foods once a day... so i have been doing this vrat since i was really really young (about 10ish years ago)... and when we were back in Dubai me, neh, yag and am used to go for sleep overs at each others houses evey day... that is, each day was at a different cousins day... and the last day is 'Jagran'! yes that is the most funfilled day of all the five days... traditionally we are supposed to stay up all night and worship the gods and sing songs in their honor... However, we normally stayed up till late (around 5amish) and watched bollywood productions... or played antakshiri... or talked.... it was the night we all looked forward too ....

Also since only girls get to do this vrat or fasting.... and when we eat once a day we cannot get up from the table to get anything (things like glass of water.. etc..) so for me its entertaing at times to make bhai get a spoon or glass of water that i accidentally forgot.... it may sound that i am a lil mean to him... but hey its only for five days.. :lol:

so anyways today is the first day of the vrat and to everyone thats doing this.... we cant eat chocolate!!!!! :cry:

k this is my first blog thingy.... n i am totally new to this... so inspired by yag n khelan bhai i decided to experiment with this... so thus far i have refused to do this because i believe it takes up waay too much time n not too many ppl actually read it... and my thoughts on this blog are bound to be bias becuase i dont like the idea of sharing my life with the whole world... but then agian i guess its not bad for time pass... :D well thats my insight on T-Blog... :) ... but anyways we'll see how long i actually follow this n keep up with it atleast on once every 2 week basis... :D :wink: :roll: :twisted: :P :oops: :idea: i really like these cute lil smilies...
k i guess this is good enough for first blog... no?? ;) ..
